Qiu vs Manus
Manus is a general-purpose agent that bills every task in credits; Qiu is a team of coworkers with memory that works 24/7 for a flat fee and, if you like, with your own AI.

Choose by the kind of work
Choose Manus if...
- You want an agent for one-off jobs (a report, a deck, broad research) and paying in credits based on each task's complexity works for you.
- You need a very large integration catalog: Manus lists 416 connectors (13 app, 369 MCP and 34 API key), plus Zapier.
- Your team lives in Slack and wants to call the agent with @manus inside any thread.
- You want a website and app builder with managed hosting, custom domains and usage-based billing in the same tool.
Choose Qiu if...
- You want specialist coworkers (sales, support, marketing...) coordinated by an orchestrator, not a single agent you brief one task at a time.
- You need work to keep going on its own: background goals, routines and watches that pick up where they left off, even after a restart.
- You prefer a flat monthly price in euros and want to use your own Claude or ChatGPT, with no extra Qiu charge for those runs.
- You want your whole team to use it with no per-seat fee and several agents at once (Business plan, €299/mo).
Qiu and Manus, side by side
| Feature | Qiu | Manus |
|---|---|---|
| The agent | Niche coworkers (sales, support, marketing...) plus a coworker-manager that splits and coordinates the work between them. | One general-purpose agent with Manus 2.0 Max, 2.0 and 2.0 Lite modes; splits work into parallel tasks and Wide Research. |
| Where it runs | In Qiu's cloud, in Europe (Germany), as a managed service, with a real browser; a desktop app for Windows, Mac and Linux that sees the screen and uses mouse and keyboard (phase 1). | In Manus's cloud sandbox and Cloud Browser; with Manus Studio (macOS Apple Silicon and Windows), also on your own computer. Its docs don't say which region hosts your data. |
| How you start | 15-day free trial, no card; you talk to your Qiu on Telegram or on the web. | Free plan at $0 with 300 daily credits, 1 concurrent task and 2 scheduled automations; the $40 Pro tier includes a 7-day trial. |
| Your team | Workspaces with members and permissions; coworkers work together through consent routing and the orchestrator. | Team plan from $20 per seat/month with a shared credit pool and admin controls; shared Projects and Collab (only the task owner spends credits). |
| Connecting apps | API connectors (Google, Microsoft 365, Slack, GoHighLevel, banking via Ponto, Brevo...), email, social via GHL, and a real browser for anything without an API. | 416 connectors in the catalog (updated November 2, 2026), custom MCP servers, Zapier and Slack. |
| What you pay | Personal €29/month, Pro €99/month, Business €299/month. Connect your Claude or ChatGPT and those runs cost nothing extra in Qiu. | Credits: Free $0; Pro from $20/month (4,000 credits) or $40/month (8,000); Team from $20 per seat/month; 17% off on annual billing. Website hosting is billed separately, by usage. |

What changes day to day
Tasks that don't get left half-done
In Manus, every job is a task with its own credit spend, and the Pro plan allows 20 concurrent tasks. Qiu treats work as goals that keep running in the background: it listens, gets going and finishes even when you're away. After a restart, it resumes what was pending instead of starting over.
Memory that knows you, not just a project
Manus keeps context in Projects: a master instruction plus a file knowledge base that the project's tasks inherit. Qiu has a second brain with three layers: personal memory across chats, per-group memory, and semantic search. What you tell it on Monday it still knows on Friday, in any chat.
A working day, with brakes where they matter
Manus schedules work through Automations (time-based, event-triggered, or advanced in beta), capped at 20 scheduled automations on Pro. Qiu runs its day on routines and watches that go 24/7, and shows you a "Confirm" card before any sensitive action. If it needs a captcha, a code or a password it asks you, and no money decision goes out without your approval.
Your AI, your apps, no double bill
Manus Flex (beta) lets you plug in your API key from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google AI Studio and other providers, but images, video, Cloud Computer and hosting still use Manus credits. In Qiu you connect your Claude or ChatGPT and those runs cost nothing extra. Manus wins on connector count; Qiu covers the most common business tools (Google, Microsoft 365, Slack, GoHighLevel, Ponto, Brevo) and uses a real browser for the rest.
Switch in 3 steps
Start your trial
Begin the 15-day free trial, no card, and connect your Claude or ChatGPT.
Bring your context
Paste your Manus Projects' master instructions into the chat; Qiu saves them to memory and applies them in every conversation.
Turn automations into routines
For each scheduled Manus Automation, ask Qiu for the same routine and connect the same apps. From then on it runs within your flat monthly fee.
Before you decide
Is Qiu an alternative to Manus?
Yes, especially if you want recurring work and continuity. Manus is built for jobs paid in credits, one task at a time; Qiu is built for coworkers with memory that work 24/7 for a flat fee in euros.
Can I use my own AI model in both?
Yes, in different ways. Manus Flex is in beta: you add an API key from a provider and pay that provider for the model, but paid features (images, video, hosting...) still use Manus credits. In Qiu you connect your Claude or ChatGPT, and those runs cost nothing extra.
Where is my data stored?
Qiu is a managed service in Qiu's cloud, and before any sensitive action it asks for your approval with a "Confirm" card. Manus's public docs don't state which region hosts your data, so check its privacy policy if that's a requirement for you.
Which one connects to more apps?
Manus, by count: it lists 416 connectors, plus Zapier and custom MCP. Qiu covers the key business connectors (Google, Microsoft 365, Slack, GoHighLevel, banking via Ponto, Brevo...) and, when a site has no API, it uses a real browser to log in and fill in forms.
Can they work on my computer?
Both can. Manus Studio runs on macOS (Apple Silicon) and Windows and works with your files, terminal and apps. Qiu's desktop app is in phase 1, runs on Windows, Mac and Linux, sees the screen and uses mouse and keyboard, for example in Illustrator, Photoshop or InDesign.
Which works better for a team?
Qiu Business (€299/month) is Qiu for your whole team, no limits: everyone on your team uses it with no per-seat fee and several agents at once, with your own AI (your Claude or ChatGPT). Manus's Team plan starts at $20 per seat per month, with a shared credit pool.
