What changes day to day
Qiu works 24/7 with background goals, routines and watches. After a restart, it carries on where it stopped. Grok Bot also has cloud routines, started on a schedule, from Slack, by events or by webhook. But each Bot can have at most 50 routines, there are hourly caps, and it may pause them if you go quiet for a long time.
Qiu has a personal memory that carries across conversations, another for each group, and semantic search that finds what matters even when you use different words. In Grok Bot each Bot keeps its own memory and shares only a few facts about you, such as your name and time zone. Its own docs warn that this memory isn't a reliable source.
Qiu drives a real browser: it logs in, fills in forms and buys. With the desktop app it sees your screen and uses the mouse and keyboard in Illustrator, Photoshop or InDesign. Before anything sensitive it shows a «Confirmar» card, asks you for captchas, codes and passwords, and makes no money decision without your approval. Grok Bot uses a browser and desktop tools on its cloud computer, and with your approval it can run commands on your Mac or Windows PC. A reviewer model called Auto Review decides whether a risky action runs, needs approval or is blocked.
